A white male college student sits in his introductory social science class. Slowly, knowing that what he has to say is so revolutionary, so new, that his classmates may not be able to handle it, he raises his hand.
The room falls silent. All eyes turn to him in rapt attention. He clears his throat, and speaks.
“I think that we’re all a part of the same race…the HUMAN race.”
The room explodes into uproar Empires fall. The oceans part. A chorus of angels descend from heaven and the world rejoices. He has done it. He has solved racism. Forever.
